Well, after passing through lots and lots(!) of farmland we made it to my great-grandmother, Gunny who was the star of our trip in Waterloo, Iowa. We were so happy to see her, and I am pretty sure she was happy to see us too :)
We also got to see (and meet!) some extended family, and we had a great time. Aunt Jackie and I told riddles and we had a really good time hanging out with her.
Dad drove mom and I around and pointed out things he remembered and we were all amazed that our GPS map included gravel roads. Mom's poor car :)
