No, this is not a fake picture. This is me. Piloting a river boat on the mighty Mississippi, just like Mark Twain. I was the only kid that got to do it and the captain just called me up to the wheelhouse and asked to see my ticket--which mom had to then dig out of the black hole otherwise known as "Mom's Purse"--I was so shocked when he said that my ticket was just the one he had been looking for!
The boat was huge and the wheel was bigger than I am but I spun it like a pro. It was really awesome and I will never ever forget it.
